the 5 minutes to review. As far as the filter is concerned, a sand filter is better, but how much, I do not know.

sand filters are just a little bit better than a cartridge filter . your best bet for a pool would be a D.E. FILTER. IT FILTERS ALMOST 100 TIMES BETTER THAN A SAND FILTER ! a DE filter for your size pool would be about 600 dollars you would also need a multiport valve for a DE filter which is about 160 bucks.
