Help from a pool expert!! filter problem?
I have a hayward multiport filter and when in filter position I have water leaking out my waste pipe, and also the handle dot want to seem to sit down tight after moving it. Also when in backwash position water is not even close to coming out as strong as it did before . The problems all started when I tried to vacuum up sand on the bottom of my pool after I noticed the pipe inside the tank had broken an sand went right into the pool, since then I have fixed the pipe an added new sand. Did i screw up something on the filter by trying to vacuum the sand out of the pool I should have done it in waste but did it in filter position.. Help

What is the best way to get rid of Zeolite debris in pool after installation in filter?
We just had our sand filter for our in-ground pool changed from sand to Zeolite/Zeobrite material, but our pool installers didn’t back-flush to waste like the packaging says and now after the pool was crystal clear it is cloudy. They are obviously morons because the instructions say that you are to back-flush to waste first during initial install and then wait 5 min and do it again before you filter the pool and send it through the jets. It seems that the dust off the Zeolite is suspended in the pool. Normally we would turn off filter and let it settle to bottom and then vacuum to waste, but this seems too light to settle. Any ideas of how to fix this? We are at a loss here! Help!
Above Ground Pool Setup Filter/Pump?
Hey, we bought a house and it has an above ground pool, and were told that we had to remove the hoses from the filter/pump & take them inside for the winter. I forgot to take pictures to remember how they went together since we were unsure if we were going to keep it or not… It’s a Splash Sand filter (3 hose connections on it) and a Splash pump (2 hose connections) and then the pool has 2 connection points.. if anyone could help out it would be greatly appreciated.
